This is how I feel

I worked my way to the controls
I set the throttle as far forward as I could
I turned the nose of my chariot to the wispy sky
And never turned back

  1. That is a photo of a P-38 WWII fighter at the air show I went to. At the end of the air show, the crowd thinned and the planes on display were able to leave to go to the next show (Reno Air Races) Most people didn't see this plane because most were tired and were leaving. But, I couldn't help notice because it is one of my favorites. It just simply waited its turn to climb into the sky. It truly did just that, throttle forward, climb straight up and did not look back. At that moment, I felt the symbolic, simplistic nature matching my state of mind.
