Hand stand





I was asked to make a stand to hold a very large crystal for the annual rock sale. As I was holding the crystal, I said my hand would be perfect if it were larger. LODI! Eureka has too much credit for inspiration, So I made this hand after mine but scaled it up by 1 and 1/2.

    It looks awesome. Is is all one piece? Did you have to heat it up to shape it? What gauge of metal?

    It's not a single piece. Fingers are separate from palm. It was cold shaped and 1/4 inch plate. The fingers are welded to the palm. This made it so much easier to shape them.
